Lavva is revolutionizing the way people retrieve and share information on the net on many levels, but one of the main breakthroughs in Lavva's user experience is the addition of the "human touch", which we call "Go Social". Users may Go Social by using our features, some of which include: chatting, sharing search and news content with other users and social networks, and commenting and rating websites.
Search Goes Social
We believe search is a social interaction, which can only be enhanced by the power of the user.
We regard search as a broad application. A large part of the search experience is trying to acquire information on a specific topic, topics that other users might have tremendous knowledge or experience with, or alternatively, a topic that a user is trying to learn more about.
The Lavva experience takes search to its next logical level. Enhance your experience by connecting with a live person when you "Go Social". Users can ask each other questions, get responses, or simply say what's on their minds.
Connect with other users who are performing the same or similar searches, or simply see which topics are most popular and jump in on the dialogue. Think of how great and convenient it could be if when you search to connect LIVE with other people to enrich your experience.
News Goes Social
The world today changes at a fast pace. We feel it's important for our users keep apprised on the latest news. Lavva provides this opportunity for our users by imparting the latest news feeds from every branch of media, from business to health to entertainment. However, being a social engine, we thought solely providing news feeds would be mundane and redundant of other news sources.
We discovered that after reading news there was no one to communicate with in order to express ourselves on the topic. We decided the solution was to introduce "News Goes Social" a platform which enables our users to read live news feeds while providing the ability to chat, debate, vent, or discuss live with other users viewing the same article simultaneously as you. The closest thing out there to this is blogging, but as fun and cool as it is, it just doesn't cut it in today's blink-of-an-eye changing world.
